We are looking for a committed and responsible individual with strong accounting knowledge, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to manage financial processes with accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, or administrative finance roles.
• Fresh graduates/postgraduates with strong accounting fundamentals and computer skills may also be considered.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, MS Office, and basic accounting software.
• Understanding of payroll processing, statutory compliance, and salary disbursement procedures.
• Knowledge of GST preparation, invoice generation, challan preparation (192B, Professional Tax), and vendor payment processing.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation, fee collection processes, and financial record maintenance.
• Ability to handle audit requirements by organizing supporting documents and providing clear explanations.
• Knowledge of working with ERP systems for accounts and financial operations would be desirable.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work accurately, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial data.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
• Process payroll in Tally and ensure accurate disbursement of salaries and benefits.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and providing clarifications.
• Handle all payments, including vendor payments, visiting faculty payments, and student fee refunds.
• Manage and collect all fees (online/offline), including library fines, re-registration fees, and other receipts.
• Reconcile fee collections with the Bank, Tally, and the ERP system on a monthly and semester basis.
• Prepare and submit GST data on time and generate necessary GST invoices (including HDFC ATM rent and administrative/faculty invoices).
• Update student-related financial records such as scholarships, Freeship Card, and TFW data in the ERP system.
• Maintain and track contract records for visiting faculty (monthly invoices) and interns.
